Volunteering at Furry Fiesta

Thank you for your interest in helping out with our groovy Furry Fiesta 2011! Our volunteers are the backbone that keeps Furry Fiesta together. Upon arriving to Furry Fiesta 2011 you will notice a volunteer table with a blue flashing light, and if it is flashing we are most definitely looking for some volunteers! Just come up to the table and I or my fabulous assistant will give you a volunteer waver and your timesheet. We ask that volunteers keep track of their timesheet during the full of Furry Fiesta and return it when you have enough hours to receive your prize you desire.

Speaking of prizes! The staff and myself felt there was need for our volunteers to have a little more incentive this year. So for Furry Fiesta 2011 we have brought you an ALL NEW prize bracket!


Also throughout our many very busy times during Furry Fiesta 2011 there will be various opportunities for double time and time-and-a-half. Your hours can build up fast!

We will be looking for reliable volunteers from now up until Furry Fiesta but I and the staff realize that plans change very quickly. If you are interested in volunteering for the convention please come to the volunteer table. HELP IS ALWAYS NEEDED. Also if you would like to you can send me an e-mail and find out where we need volunteers before the convention starts!

The areas that Furry Fiesta will most need volunteers are: Conbook, Set up/Tear Down of convention, Registration, Security, Dealers Den Assistant/door watcher, Video Room, Video Gaming Room, Panel Room Set-up/Tear down, Art Show, and just our general "WE NEED HELP NOW" people. Positions are based solely on what the volunteer wants to do, there are no assigned areas. This is purely voluntarily. When the light is flashing, we NEED help.
