How to Help

Being a contributing member of Furry Fiesta immerses you in a passionate and welcoming community of like-minded individuals. You become an integral part of the convention, working closely with fellow furries, artists, performers, and attendees, depending on the department. This unique bond creates lasting friendships and networking opportunities that extend beyond the convention itself.

Unlock Your Creativity

One of the most exciting aspects of helping out at Furry Fiesta is the chance to showcase your creativity. Whether you assist with ConOps, Art Show, or AV, your role will allow you to contribute to the vibrant tapestry of the convention. Your creativity will flourish as you help bring the magic of the furry world to life.

Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Access

You gain exclusive behind-the-scenes access and an in-depth understanding of how the event operates. You’ll be privy to the inner workings of Furry Fiesta. This insider knowledge not only enriches your experience but also provides valuable skills and experience for future endeavors.

Take Ownership of the Furry Fiesta Experience

You have a unique opportunity to take ownership of the Furry Fiesta experience and shape it in your own way. Your contributions will directly impact the convention’s success, ensuring that each attendee has a memorable and enjoyable time. From brainstorming new event ideas to refining existing traditions, your voice will be heard and valued as you help to create an unforgettable experience for all involved.

Depending on the number of hours you volunteer, you can earn Credits redeemable for prizes such as t-shirts and vouchers. Level Up to Staff!

Being a staff member of Texas Furry Fiesta is a great way to get immersed in the culture and experience the event from the inside out. Staff members receive free “Sponsor” level admission, which grants access to all of the event’s activities, such as the meet and greets, panels, dances, and more. They also get to work with other TFF staffers and TFF attendees to ensure everyone has a great time.

As a staff member, you will receive the following rewards for helping out: Free “Sponsor” attendance, which includes a limited edition bag, a Furry Fiesta 2025 T-shirt, a Furry Fiesta lanyard, a special art poster, and a printed con book.

To become staff, you must have volunteered 1 year at TFF, or have 1 year/cycle experience from a different con (such as Furry Siesta or any other furry convention).

Take a look at our most requested positions below:

Park Ranger

The Park Rangers department exists to secure the safety of our attendees, the well-being of the hotel, and to enforce the rules of CA and Furry Fiesta throughout the convention area. Park Rangers may also act in a conflict mediation role between attendees if that conflict is creating an issue.

Park Rangers, like any role in the convention, are not to touch, restrain, detain, or physically pull a badge from any attendee. They also do not perform EMS functions. All in all, a Park Ranger staffer are the eyes and ears of the convention, take detailed reports, and properly escalate issues. This is a customer service role at TFF.

Departments within A/V include Audio, Lighting, Video, Rigging, and IT. We welcome all skill levels who wish to lend a paw and are always happy to educate newcomers.
