Furry Fiesta Art Show will open on August 1st 2010.
The Furry Fiesta Art Show is a place for artists to exhibit their creations for all to see. Everything from paintings, drawings, and sculptures may be displayed. Come and see some of the finest art the furry fandom has to offer!
If you're an artist, keep reading below for details on how to enter your work into the Art Show.
The Furry Fiesta Art Show will be held in the format of a silent auction; artists also have the option to provide a "Buy it Now" price or to have a piece up for display purposes only. Pieces that reach the max amount of slotted bids will go up for a voice auction on Sunday. Pieces may be mailed in - however, the artist or their agent must be present the day of the convention, to receive their mailed in art, set up their panels and tear down their panels at the end of the convention. Furry Fiesta Art Show staff will not be responsible for receiving or returning / boxing up any mailed in art.
The Art Show will be divided into a General area and an Adult area. Panel costs are the same in both; table space is limited to items on display in the General area.
Art Show Pricing
Full panel: 4' X 4' (pegboard) - $10.00 (General or Adult)
Half panel: 4' x 2' (pegboard) - $ 5.00 (General or Adult)
Table Space: 2' x 3' (half-table) - $15.00 (General Only)
All artists participating in the Furry Fiesta Art Show are subject to a 10% commission charge on final total sales. Additionally, sharing of art show panels and tables by multiple artists is prohibited.

Content Guidelines:
The Furry Fiesta Art Show is a special-interest art show; artwork displayed should feature a predominantly anthropomorphic (animals with human characteristic), theriomorphic (humans with animal characteristics), wildlife or fantasy creature theme.
All work displayed, whether print or source piece, must be the original creation of the artist displaying it. Characters that are copyrighted, trademarked, or otherwise owned by someone else may only be displayed with the express, written permission of the owner. Parody, however, may be allowed.
Material in the General area must be suitable for all ages. Artistic depictions that include but are not limited to the following must be displayed in the Adult area:
- Frontal nudity (defined as bare breasts or exposed genitalia)
- Obvious sexual contact (with or without visible genitalia)
- Extreme violence
- Illegal drug use
- Sexual contact between a human and a non-anthropomorphic animal
- Extreme violence against a minor
- Sexual situations involving a minor
- Any artwork that can be considered a direct threat against a person
- Any artwork that may otherwise be considered legally actionable
If you are uncertain whether a piece falls under any of the above categories or whether it is suitable to be displayed in the General area, send a copy (digital or otherwise) of the piece in question to the Art Show staff ahead of time for review.
All Art Show participants must provide a registration form, payment by cashier's check or money order and a copy of the Art Show Agreement with all pages signed. Please review the Art Show Agreement and registration form for further details.
Art Show staff decisions regarding theme, content or operation of the Art Show are final; however, we are open to suggestions and welcome feedback. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or suggestions!
