Happy Holidays!

Howdy howdy everyone! In the wake of an absolutely amazing turnout for Midwest Furfest (we hope everyone had fun!), we wanted to wish everyone a happy holidays as we get closer to the end of the year.

It’s hard to believe that Furry Fiesta 2024 is only three months away. With that in mind, we’d like to remind everyone of a few things:

Firstly, registration is still open. If you haven’t already, we very much encourage you to register as soon as you’re able! While attendee level registration will always be available, we only have so many Sponsor and Super Sponsor slots open, and early bird pricing for attendee level registration will end on the first of March. So once again, please make sure you register when you get the chance.

As you might’ve seen from previous posts on our various social media platforms, rooms are still available at the Sheraton and the Marriott, though that too is limited, so make sure you hurry if you haven’t booked your room already! If you’re looking for roommates, we have a group for that here! While you’re at it, make sure you join our official group and our news channel so you can socialize and stay up to date on all the news we’ve got for you!

As always, we love all of you and hope this is a great month for everyone as we close out 2023!

The Furnal Countdown!

It's less than 30 days until Furry Fiesta, Texas' biggest furry convention and the 4th largest in the world!

This year’s theme is “Attack of the Jackofluffies,” which promises a wild and fun-filled event for all attendees.

If you haven’t pre-registered yet, now is the time to do it! Pre-registration secures your spot at the event and saves you money. As a reminder, the Early-Bird special ends on March 1, 2023, so don’t wait any longer to take advantage of this offer.

The Sheraton Dallas, the official hotel of Texas Furry Fiesta, is already closed for our room block. However, some rooms are still available until Thursday, February 23, 2023, at our overflow hotel, The Dallas Marriott Downtown, which is connected by sky-bridge! Texas Furry Fiesta would not be possible without the support of its dedicated volunteers. If you’re looking to give back to the furry community, volunteering at Texas Furry Fiesta is an excellent opportunity. #TFF2023 is still accepting volunteers willing to donate a few hours of their time, which can be traded in for various prizes, including having your registration paid for in 2024, making it a great way to support TFF and save on registration costs for the next year!

So, whether you’re a seasoned fur con veteran or a newcomer to the community, mark your calendars for #TFF2023 and get ready for an intergalactic adventure filled with fun and friendship. Seasons Bleatings!

Greetings to everyone out there in our furry family! We’re back again to wish everyone a happy holiday, no matter what you celebrate.

We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and new year, and most importantly, we hope everyone stays warm! That said, we’ve got a few things we wanted to remind everyone of before we welcome in 2023.

Firstly, we’d like to take a moment and say that we’ve been following everything going on with Twitter and we’ve been taking steps to make sure we can expand our social media presence as much as possible. To that end, we recently released our very own official Discord server. We had been getting quite a few requests for it, and figured it was finally time to dig our heels in and launch it.

On top of that, we’ve joined together with quite a few other furry conventions to create a Mastodon server specifically for furry conventions. You’ll find us on there along with about 25 or so other conventions, and we’re only continuing to grow. If you’ve already made a move over to Mastodon, please consider giving us a follow on there @TexasFurryFiesta. You can find the above mentioned social media links as well as our other channels at this link.

Finally, we’d like to give a very special shout out to our final guest of honor for Texas Furry Fiesta 2023: Aurora Bloom! Aurora is a young full-time artist that specializes in creating incredibly adorable fursuits. Starting in late 2018 while on active duty in the United States Navy, she has put her heart and soul into her craft, having turned it into her full-time profession. But wait, if you thought that was it, you’re sorely mistaken! On top of fursuits, Aurora boasts an impressive digital art and merchandise design portfolio, and is always on the lookout to hone in on new skills. If you’re as excited to see this amazing artist as we are, make sure to keep an eye out on social media to find out more!

We know everyone is eager to hear the announcement for our COVID-19 policy for Texas Furry Fiesta 2023.

Please rest assured we’re keeping a close eye on current affairs and we will be releasing the policy with plenty of time to make, change, or cancel any plans you may have.

Gobble Till You Wobble!

Good day (or night) to our fuzzy family! With TFF coming up in just around four months we would like to first thank you all for being an amazing community!

We could never do any of this without everyone’s awesome support. Last month we opened our room block, and our room block is a little over halfway booked. If you haven’t booked yet, no worries! We’ve still got plenty of traditional king rooms left to book! If you were hoping for a different room type, please keep an eye on the booking link as plans do tend to change and rooms may become available later on.

Registration is open and will remain available on our site. Pre-registration is currently at a discounted price until after March 1st. Please keep in mind that upper tiers are limited, and we have already sold out of Lone Star Sponsor registration! That said, regular registration does not have a limit so please don’t feel rushed to make a decision right this moment… but like… definitely register.

We also want to give a huge shout out for our third guest of honor, Padunk! Padunk is a freelance digital artist known for her “How to draw THICC Characters” panels and her work with Sixth Element Studios. Her advocacy for instilling body positivity and feminine strength is a breath of fresh air to this community. Make sure to check her out at the dealer’s den as well as at various events at TFF 2023!

Happy Autumnal Equinox!

Greetings everyfur, and a happy beginning of fall! Just like last month, we’ve got a few awesome pieces of news to share with you. If you’ve been following our social media, you’ll know what we’ve got in store.

First off, thank you so very much to everyone that has submitted an application to our dealers den. The response was staggering, and we truly appreciate all the interest in our convention for 2023! This week, our team will be reviewing the applications and sending out emails to those that were chosen. So if you submitted an application, be sure to keep an eye out!

If you’ve been wondering when we’ll be opening our room block, then SURPRISE!! We recently announced on social media that our room block will be opening in…wait for it…JUST UNDER A ONE WEEK! The block is set to open on October 4th, so keep an eye on our social media channels, such as our Twitter or Instagram, for that announcement.

Finally, we’d like to give a big shout out to our second guest of honor this month, Rick Griffin! Rick is the author of the award-winning comic, “Housepets!” and other comics such as “A&H Club” and “Pit Fighters”, and if you received a shirt for Furry Fiesta 2022, then you’re also wearing his art!

As saddened as we were about Rick being unable to join us for this past convention, we’re absolutely thrilled to welcome him to Furry Fiesta 2023!

The Dog Days Are (Finally) Over!

Greetings from beyond the horizon! This month we have so much fantastic news, so buckle up! If you’ve been following our social media, you’ll notice we’ve released our lineup for the guests of honor. We’ve got a lot of amazing people that will make this convention one you wouldn't want to miss! We also have some great news for potential dealers that will help guide you on your journey if you’d like to vend at Furry Fiesta 2023!

First off, we are pleased to announce that Dealers Den registration has been updated. It includes information such as rules and regulations, the size of space allotments, and the registration schedule! Please bear in mind that applications are not first come/first served, so please take your time to read through the information at your leisure. Applications will be opening on September 10th!

We’ve also got some amazing guests of honor lined up this year, and over the next few months we’ll be excited to shout out each of these awesome individuals.

First up is Pup Amp and Mr. Kristofer, otherwise known by their education show “Watts The Safeword”. Their youtube videos, twitch streams and weekly podcast focus on sex and kink education. They also address topics regarding LGBT history and current issues. To learn more, check out their Youtube channel or their website, and we’ll see you all next month!

Beat the Heat with New Deets!

Hey there fuzzy space explorers! We hope everyone that went had fun with Anthrocon earlier this month. On top of that we'd like to give a special shout-out to our sister convention, Texas Furry Siesta! We were thrilled to see all the pictures of everyone having a blast!

We broke records with 1214 attendees and we hope to see it grow in the coming years. Many of our staff either attends or staffs that convention and it was an awesome time even amidst the blistering heat wave here in Texas!

Additionally, pre-registration for Texas Furry Fiesta 2023 has been open for a month now! Getting registered early can allow for some flexibility of planning who you might see there and getting those hotel reservations. There’s plenty of time before TFF 2023 to get registered, but we certainly hope to see you there! Click the button below to register!

On that note, we’re pleased to announce that the Room Block for #TFF2023 at the Sheraton Dallas will open soon! More details will come soon so keep an eye out on our social media as more info is provided! As was the case this past year, be sure to snag your spot quickly if you plan to go because the slots go fast!

We wanted to make sure we had everything in place so we could give these wonderful people the recognition and dedication they deserve! We are so excited to introduce our GOH lineup very soon.

Greetings everyone! We hope that y’all had an awesome time at Stratosfur in Houston, TX. We’ve enjoyed seeing all the photos and posts coming from down south. We are happy to see Stratosfur thrive!

Speaking of Texas conventions, our summer event, Texas Furry Siesta, is just around the corner and we’re excited to see everyone over at the Hyatt Regency Dallas! Registration is still available! Texas Furry Siesta will be held on July 15-17, 2023! For more information, check out furrysiesta.org!

As much as we are all excited to go to Siesta 2022, we also have Texas Furry Fiesta 2023 to look forward to! Registration for TFF2023 has already begun and can be found here. Keep an eye out on social media for the hotel block opening, as that will be coming soon! We will be returning to the Sheraton Dallas, now with 10% less 3 AM fire alarms! We learned alot from our first year in 2022 and working with our partners at the Sheraton, we hope to make TFF2023 a much bigger and better experience than ever before!

Finally, we hope that all you fuzzies have had an excellent Pride Month so far! Especially for our trans and non-binary furs, we stand beside you during this incomprehensible time of hate and bigotry in government. The Furry Fandom is a place where we can finally be ourselves, fully and completely. If you are new and unsure of whether you belong, we’d like to wish you the warmest of welcomes! So whether you wear your pride year-round, aren’t yet ready to come out, are an ally, or wherever you are at in your journey, we wish you a Happy Pride month in our pursuit of acceptance and equality for all! We apologize for the delay in getting the new website together. With everything happening at #TFF2022 and the immense amount of feedback we received, we wanted to get everything back in order before officially bringing everything back in time for various scheduled TFF-related events that will get you excited ALL OVER AGAIN for Texas Furry Fiesta in 2023!

We are so excited to formally re-announce our theme for #TFF2023, Attack of the Jackafluffies! Think “B” movies with aliens, spaceships, and space exploration with your friends as the Jackafluffs of TFF notoriety invade our con space! We are bringing this along with our Theme crew for picture props, events, and themed prizes from our Charity Midway! We can’t wait to show you all that we have planned!

Soon, both Pre-Registration and our Hotel Room Block will be opening up, so make sure to keep an eye here and on social media for all the most updated information!

If you just can’t wait, check out Furry Siesta, TFF’s sister summer convention being held at the Hyatt Regency Dallas! We know how much everyone misses that hotel and all the memories made there.
