Dealer Registration

The Unified Application for Artists & Dealers for our 2026 Convention will be from September 27th to October 24th, 2025.

New for 2026: the Adult Dealers Den

In 2026, we’re excited to launch our very first Adult Dealers Den! Dealers will be able to choose whether they’d like to apply for the Standard Dealers Den or the Adult Dealers Den. The great news is that there’s just one application – it covers both Dealers Dens, as well as the Artist Alley and the AD Rodeo.

One Unified Application, All Areas

When we aren’t able to accommodate all dealers in the Dealers Den, many turn to the Artist Alley as another way to share their work and earn income. Since the information needed for the Dealers Den, Artist Alley, and AD Rodeo is mostly the same, Furry Fiesta uses a single application form – so you only have to fill things out once instead of doing duplicate paperwork.

Space Allotment & Priority

At Furry Fiesta, we use a juried selection system to choose Dealers Den participants. Our goal is to create a fun, diverse shopping experience for attendees while giving a fair chance to both new and returning vendors.

What We Look At

  • Products – We try to keep a good balance so no single type of product takes over the Den. Variety helps make shopping more exciting for everyone!
  • History with TFF – We value vendors who have built a positive history with our attendees and staff, while also making room for new vendors who want to join us for the first time. Our target mix is about 70% returning vendors and 30% new or long-absent vendors (those who haven’t attended in 5+ years).
  • Fandom Reputation – To keep the Den welcoming and enjoyable, we may decline applications from vendors with a history of serious issues (like not delivering on commissions, mistreating attendees or staff, or making threats).

Application Tips

Since applications aren’t first-come, first-served anymore, there’s no need to rush. Take your time, be thorough, and give us as much detail as you can—this really helps us get to know you and your work.

A great way to do this is by putting together a portfolio. This could be as simple as a Google Drive folder, an Instagram account, or a personal website that shows off your products, setup, and style.

AD Rodeo

The AD Rodeo is an 18+ event (valid government-issued ID required) that we first launched in 2024 with the help of a handful of awesome dealers who worked with us to bring it to life.

On the application, you’ll find a section where you can opt in to be considered for the AD Rodeo. If you choose to apply, you’ll just need to provide a little extra AD-specific information. There’s no additional fee to take part.

Since the AD Rodeo is still fairly new, we’re looking for vendors who are open to collaborating with us as we fine-tune the experience. That means offering feedback, being flexible with layouts and schedules, and bringing a spirit of kindness and cooperation. Think of it as being part of a work-in-progress community project—we’re building something unique together!

Dealers Den Rules & Regulations

1. Texas Sales Tax Permit

To sell at Furry Fiesta, all vendors must have a valid Texas Sales Tax Permit on file with the Vendor Coordinator. The only exceptions are:

  • Demonstration-only vendors (no sales)
  • Registered charities

Vendors without a permit on file will not be allowed to set up.

How to Get a Permit

  • The permit is free and easy to obtain online: https://comptroller.texas.gov/taxes/sales/
  • If your official certificate hasn’t arrived before Furry Fiesta, you may bring a copy of the signed form you submitted to the Comptroller’s Office.

During the Convention

  • Vendors are responsible for collecting and submitting all applicable sales taxes to the State of Texas.
  • The current Dallas sales tax rate is 8.25%.
  • You can file your permit with us in advance by email, or in person at the Coordinator’s table during Dealers Den registration and operating hours.

Important Reminder

We may have limited ability to help with permit registration on-site. To avoid any delays or surprises, we strongly recommend securing your Texas Sales Tax Permit before arriving at the convention.

2. Electricity Usage

The Dealers Den provides electricity access for a minimum fee of $75.

3. Dealer Space Rules & Guidelines

We want everyone in the Dealers Den to have a comfortable and enjoyable experience! To help with that, please keep these guidelines in mind:

Space & Setup

  • Each dealer is limited to the space on top of and directly behind their table.
  • Side stands may be allowed, but only with prior approval from the Vendor Coordinator.
  • Please don’t encroach on your neighbor’s space (including those behind you) without permission. A little courtesy goes a long way!
  • Every space includes one table and two chairs by default. If you’d prefer not to use them, let the Vendor Coordinator know before setup — otherwise, the table will remain for the entire convention.
  • Nothing may be taped, pinned, or otherwise attached to the walls. All displays must be free-standing.

Sounds & Displays

  • Lights, videos, and sound are welcome as long as they don’t disturb other dealers or attendees. If we receive complaints, we may ask you to turn them off.
  • Squeakers and other noisemakers are fine in moderation, but please be mindful that not everyone wants to hear them for three days straight.
  • Music players, Bluetooth speakers, or phones may not broadcast in the Den due to noise levels. If you want music at your table, please use headphones or earbuds. (This applies to attendees as well as dealers.)

Scents & Products

  • If you sell scented goods, please prepare them before arriving at the convention. Compounding (like adding scent to lotions or sprays) is not allowed indoors.
  • If you absolutely must do so during the event, please use the parking structure where there’s proper ventilation.
  • Spills indoors may result in cleaning fees — and remember, many attendees have sensitivities to strong scents.

4. Prohibited Items

To help keep Furry Fiesta safe, fun, and welcoming, some items are not allowed for sale. This list may be updated at any time. If you’re unsure about something, please reach out to us before the event — we’re happy to help!

Furry Fiesta reserves the right to ask vendors to remove from display or sale any items deemed inappropriate by Staff.

Items Not Allowed

  • AI-generated media (in whole or in part)
  • Firearms – absolutely no exceptions
  • Alcohol – absolutely no exceptions
  • Weapons that are not peace-bonded
  • Flammable/incendiary items (except candles & incense*)
  • Scents and perfumes if they are overwhelming or disruptive to attendees
  • Home-made food not compliant with Texas Cottage Food Production laws
    • Food produced outside of Texas must still comply with Texas law
  • Bootleg or knock-off goods
  • Any item prohibited by the State of Texas or the City of Dallas

*Candles and incense may be sold, but they may not be lit at any time.

Special Note on 3D Printing (New in 2026)

3D printed items are welcome as long as:

  • You are the original creator of the design, or
  • You have secured the proper rights to print and distribute the design commercially.

5. Adult Material Policy

Adult material is allowed at Furry Fiesta, but it must always be handled responsibly to ensure minors are not exposed. Please review and follow these rules carefully:

  • Censorship required: All adult content — whether printed, digital, drawn, video, audio, or physical — must be censored or obscured from view.
  • Loose art & binders: Each individual piece must be censored, not just the cover or container.
  • Retailer responsibility: Vendors are responsible for monitoring their own table to prevent minors from seeing restricted content.
  • Age checks: Minors will have a clearly labeled Minor badge. However, if someone appears under 18, vendors must request ID before allowing access.
  • Staff discretion: The Vendor Coordinator may require additional censorship if something is considered too risqué.
  • Err on the side of caution: When in doubt, cover it up. Creative or humorous censorship is welcome, but it must still be effective and thorough.

6. Vendor Liability

We ask all vendors to treat hotel property and provided equipment with care. Vendors are responsible, within reason, for any damage caused by inappropriate use.

  • No modifications: Please do not alter hotel property or equipment in any way (this includes drilling holes, painting, gluing, or anything that could leave marks or damage).
  • Use responsibly: Equipment such as tables and chairs are meant for their intended purpose only. For example, please don’t stand on chairs or tables — it’s unsafe and could result in damage or injury.
  • Liability: Furry Fiesta, Creature Arts, and the Sheraton are not responsible for injuries or damage that result from improper use of hotel equipment.

We want everyone to have a safe and positive experience, so please use all provided equipment carefully and respectfully.

7. Layout Changes

Furry Fiesta reserves the right to make changes to any published Dealers layout, as needed, at any time up-to and including during set-up.

8. Code of Conduct

All Furry Fiesta Rules and Code of Conduct must be followed in addition to the rules listed here.

9. Rule Changes

Furry Fiesta reserves the right to amend these rules without prior or posted notice.

Adult Dealers Den Supplemental Rules

In addition to all standard Dealers Den policies, the following rules apply specifically to the Adult Dealers Den:

  • Restricted content: All adult materials (visual and auditory) must remain fully contained within the Adult Dealers Den. Content may not be visible or audible outside the designated space.
  • Sound control: Audio from displays, media, or demonstrations must not travel beyond the Adult Dealers Den area.
  • Visual barriers: Displays must not extend above walls or partitions designed to separate the Adult Dealers Den from the rest of the convention.
  • Attire requirements: Any attire that does not meet the convention-wide Code of Conduct (e.g., fetish or adult-themed clothing) must be appropriately covered when traveling to and from the Adult Dealers Den (for example, with a robe or other covering).

Compliance with these rules is required in order to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all attendees.
