2023 Health & Wellness Policy
Due to the changing times and changes with the COVID-19 pandemic, our health and wellness guidelines have changed.
Entry Requirements
This year, Texas Furry Fiesta will not be requiring COVID-19 vaccinations or negative tests for entry. However, we will still be enforcing masking in certain areas of the convention space, and we strongly recommend social distancing wherever possible. This is to help prevent the spread of flu and other sickness as well as minimize con crud.
Masking
Furry Fiesta staff will still enforce masking in the following areas of the convention space:
- Dealer’s Den
- Panel Rooms
- Family Friendly
- Main Stage (Performers exempt)
- Art Show
- Video Gaming
- Tabletop Gaming
- Cabaret Stage (Performers exempt)
- Quiet Room
Attendees in fursuits may choose whether or not they wear a mask in these areas.
Please be aware that because of the airborne transmissible danger of COVID-19, the CDC recommends the use of a N95/KN95 or better respirator mask. Cloth masks are still acceptable to be worn. See more details at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/types-of-masks.html. If you forget a mask, we can provide one to you in locations where masks are required.
Please Note
We highly recommend keeping an eye on the Dallas County Community Level, and encourage everyone to make their own decisions as to how they approach their personal safety at the convention. It is also still highly recommended to test before and after the convention, and as always please stay home if you find yourself having contracted COVID-19.
Unless specifically stated, these are guidelines put in place for everyone’s safety and as such, our staff is prepared to uphold these guidelines for everyone that attends TFF 2023, in addition to the existing rules in our Furry Fiesta Code of Conduct.
